Since the economic downturn, SBSA and other nonprofit organizations have
increasingly found it difficult to obtain
funding for their programs. An estimated
30% decrease in public donations are
expected by the end of the year
alone. Thus, organizations must now come up with
alternative methods to help meet the high
costs associated with running a successful
nonprofit organization.
Our long-term goal is to enroll 100,000 Student Body Scholarship Association
(SBSA) college-age student
members nationwide to
attend concerts and other special events to
be held by SBSA in major cities across the country.
Through creative fundraising strategies,
SBSA has come up with a variety of ways to
raise money to help assist our student members
with direct and indirect costs associated
with obtaining a higher education.
